Privacy

Privacy, in plain English.

Short version: no accounts, no cookies from us, no ad tracking. Here's everything the site touches.

What we collect

Nothing you type in, because there are no forms or sign-ins on this site. We don't set cookies and we don't sell or share anything about you.

Visitor counts: Cloudflare Web Analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies, doesn't build a profile of you, and doesn't follow you around other sites. Like any web host, Cloudflare also handles your IP address to deliver the pages and keep out attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

YouTube videos

Videos and the live player are embedded from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube doesn't store cookies for your visit until you press play; once you do, Google's privacy policy applies.

Fonts on the Road to GTA 6 page

The Road to GTA 6 page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google sees your IP address. The rest of the site uses a font we host ourselves.

Posts from Feedback Pigeon

News and blog posts come from Feedback Pigeon, our own posting tool (feedback.wayofthepigeon.ninja). On the home page your browser fetches the latest three directly from it. Reacting to or commenting on a post happens on Feedback Pigeon, under its own privacy notice.

Live challenge data (coming later)

The challenge pages will soon show live progress, fetched by your browser from Collektory, our own stream data service. It only sends challenge data to you; it doesn't collect anything about you beyond the normal request.

Links to other sites

Links to YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, X, Instagram, Discord and our Fourthwall shop take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.

Your rights and getting in touch

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you (on this site, practically nothing) and ask us to delete it. The quickest way to reach us is on Discord. If you're unhappy with how we've handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
